At Hotel Willinger Mitte the pub is in the house itself: the Kupferkanne on the ground floor has been part of it since 1914 and calls itself the oldest village pub in Willingen. There is a Sky sports bar, Schlager and 80s, a smoking room with ventilation and the sun terrace. The rooms are above, and breakfast is served until 11.30 am.

Why a hotel with a pub in the house?
Because the hardest part of a long evening is often the way home. No waiting for a taxi, no debate about who drives, no walk through the cold. With us, the Kupferkanne is on the ground floor and your room is above it.
Some guests come back every year for exactly that reason. Others drop in for a beer and end up staying for the weekend.
Après-ski in Willingen: where can you have a beer after skiing?

Can you watch football in the pub?
Yes. Sky is on in the Kupferkanne, so you can watch the Bundesliga and the Champions League here in good company. For a match day with friends the sums are simple: the match downstairs, your room upstairs, breakfast the next morning until half past eleven.
Smoking is only allowed in the separate smoking room with a powerful filter and ventilation system. The hotel area and the breakfast room are non-smoking.

Yes. The sun terrace is in front of the house, right on Briloner Straße. In good weather you sit there as soon as the sun comes over the street. In summer it's the place to be after a hike or a bike ride, in spring the first spot after a day on the slopes.
Inside, the Kupferkanne has around 50 seats. At weekends it's nicely full, with girls' weekends and club trips standing at the same bar as the hiking group. That's exactly the point.
Is the hotel noisy when the pub downstairs is open?
At weekends the Kupferkanne is busy, that's part of the house. We'd rather tell you beforehand than afterwards. If you'd like to sleep very quietly, just tell us when you enquire and we'll pick the right room for you.
During the week it's quieter, but the pub is open. Good for anyone who wants to stay sitting a little longer after a day on the slopes or a tour.
Is the hotel with a pub suitable for groups?
