The big events in Willingen are the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup at the Mühlenkopfschanze (29 to 31 January 2027), the Bike Festival (21 to 23 May 2027), the Schützenfest marksmen's festival (3 to 5 July 2027) and the Harley Days (7 to 11 July 2027). When is the Ski Jumping World Cup in Willingen in 2027?
The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Willingen takes place from 29 to 31 January 2027. The jumping is at the Mühlenkopfschanze. According to the organisers it's the largest large hill in the world, with a hill size of 147 metres.

Where to stay for the World Cup in Willingen?
On World Cup weekend the village is full and rooms go early. If you want to walk to the ski jump and walk back in the evening, you should stay in the village centre. Our house is at Briloner Straße 6, one minute from the village centre.
After the jumping, the evening isn't over. The Kupferkanne on the ground floor has been part of the house since 1914. The next morning there's breakfast until 11.30 am. We'll tell you with our offer whether your weekend falls in Season A. Let us know via the enquiry form how many of you there are.
When is the Bike Festival Willingen 2027?
The BIKE Festival Willingen takes place from 21 to 23 May 2027. The organisers mention around 130 exhibitors, free entry to the expo and test tracks for mountain bikes, e-bikes, gravel and road bikes. There are also races for different age groups.

When is the Schützenfest in Willingen?
The Willingen Schützenfest, the traditional marksmen's festival, takes place every year on the first weekend in July, in 2027 from 3 to 5 July. The celebrations are in and around the visitor centre. Saturday brings an open-air concert and a church service, Sunday the parade through the village, Monday the bird shoot.
Shortly afterwards come the Harley Days Willingen, in 2027 from 7 to 11 July. Then there are lots of motorbikes about in the village. If you like it lively on these days, you're in exactly the right place with us. If you'd prefer it quiet, tell us when you enquire.

What's on in Willingen in winter 2026?
In December there's the Willinger Wintermärchen winter fair in the spa gardens, on the Advent weekends. The village's annual calendar lists 4 to 6, 11 to 13 and 18 to 20 December for 2026. On 30 December there's a torchlight walk in the calendar.

On big weekends the Kupferkanne is busy too. If you'd like to sleep very quietly, tell us when you enquire. Then we'll pick the right room.
Which rooms are there for an event weekend?
Comfort rooms for two to four people and apartments for three to six. A weekend from Friday to Sunday costs from €129 per person with breakfast, except in Season A. Every guest gets their own key.
Is there parking when the village is busy?
Yes, there's free parking at the house. Please let us know beforehand how many cars you're bringing. You can then walk to the events.
