When is the Bike Festival Willingen 2027?

From 21 to 23 May 2027. The organiser mentions around 130 exhibitors, free entry to the expo and test tracks for mountain bikes, e-bikes, gravel and road bikes. On top of that there are races for different age groups.

Where does my bike stay overnight?

In the ski room on the ground floor. Bikes and kit stay there overnight, and your room stays clean. On the day of departure, the luggage room helps, even after checking out, in case you want to go for one more ride on Sunday.

We're an officially certified hiker- and cyclist-friendly business. Feel free to ask us at breakfast how best to get to the course in the morning.

How far is it to the festival grounds and the cable car?

It's approx. 10 minutes on foot from the front door to the valley station of the Ettelsberg cable car. It's one minute to the village centre. The car stays parked during the festival, and you get around the village by bike or on foot.

In the evening the Kupferkanne on the ground floor is open, with a sun terrace on Briloner Straße. At the end of May people like to sit outside there.

Can I come with a cycling group?

Yes. Apartments sleep three to six people, comfort rooms two to four. Larger groups combine several units, and everyone gets their own key. Tell us how many bikes are coming, and we'll plan the space in the ski room.

What does Willingen offer bikers and hikers in summer?

In summer the ski area becomes a hiking and biking area. The Ettelsberg cable car keeps running, there's a bike park and tours for every pace, and from the Hochheide heathland you can see far across the Sauerland. So if you want to stay on after the festival, there's plenty to do.

In the evening you sit on the sun terrace in front of the house or in the Kupferkanne. The next morning, breakfast awaits until 11.30 am. You'll find good reasons for a summer in the village under Willingen.

How much does a hotel in Willingen cost for the Bike Festival?

A weekend from Friday to Sunday with us costs from €129 per person in the apartment and from €139 in the comfort room, except in Season A, with breakfast. Whether the festival weekend falls in Season A, we'll tell you with the offer.

The village gets busy for the festival. If you want to be sure of a room in the centre, enquire early.
